GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA
The 103,965 square foot Fair Street Elementary School building project included demolishing the existing elementary school and replacing with a new school while maintaining operations at the existing school on the same site. The new school design included 45 new instructional units, kitchen, media center, gymnasium, historical society classroom, and outdoor amphitheater. The existing site is extremely limited in acreage and includes a complex terrain; all of these variables resulted in a complex project, requiring exceptional and successful collaborative efforts of the school system and RLR's civil and architectural planners.
